Our History

GJ Builders Hardware, Inc. was opened in 1969 to meet the door & hardware needs of local businesses and manufacturing plants. We are happy to provide doors and hardware that help enhance and secure commercial and industrial buildings throughout our community.

Safety is our number one priority, and we focus on securing buildings as well as making sure exits are available in case of emergency. Locally owned since 1969, GJ is invested in the safety and security of Decatur and surrounding communities.

Our Experience

Collectively, our staff has over 30 years of experience in the door industry. In fact, we have a Certified Door and Hardware Technician on staff. We have successfully supplied doors and hardware for buildings with 90+ openings. Our 10+ years of experience in welding and metal fabrication means that your custom doors will be supplied correctly the first time - or we'll make it right.
